JV Head Coach- Aaron Lougheed (2003-present). Coach Lougheed has been the JV Head Coach since the school’s inception.  Previously, he spent 1 year with the Rochester High JV as an assistant.  Aaron was also with the Stoney Creek Football program for 7 years before he became an assistant with the Romeo Football Program.   In high school, Aaron played Football, Basketball and Baseball at Sault Ste Marie High.  Aaron received his Bachelors in Mathematics and Physical Education from Ferris State University where he played football for 5 years winning 4 League championships.  He also earned a Masters from Nova Southeastern and his health certification from Wayne State University.  His wife, Cara, teaches Social Studies and English at SCHS and Aaron has 2 boys, AJ and Aiden.


JV Assistant Coach (bottom, left) - Duane Elkins (2006-present)

Coach Elkins is the JV assistant coach and spent a year with the Varsity.  Duane has coached Troy summer baseball & soccer and was the coach of a U10 travel team for 3 years before he moved to Rochester in 1998. Duane is the athletic booster club president at SCHS since 2005 & prior to that was the RHS booster club president 2000-2003. Duane is married to Donna for 28 years & has 2 children. Eric, age 26, is a graduate of RHS and MSU in 2007. Caitlin, age 22, is a Graduate of SCHS and Columbia College Chicago in 2011.  Duane is the owner of an Allstate Ins. Agency & has been in the insurance business 32 years.  Duane graduated from Hazel Park in 1978 and was a 3 sports athlete in football, swimming, and baseball. Duane believes in helping young adults realize their potential and he feels that his life experiences can help mold boys to men.  He has been a youth leader for his church for the past 10 years.

Varsity Head Coach (top, middle) - Clint Rodger (2003-present). Coach Rodger has been leading the Stoney Creek Baseball Program since the school’s inception.  Before Stoney, Clint coached 2 years as Rochester Adams Assistant Varsity Coach and Romeo High Assistant Varsity Coach.  Clint has coached the Steele’s Summer Baseball Program from 1999-2004 where his team won the 2004 16u USSSA World Series in Kissime Florida.  Clint earned his bachelor’s degree in Earth and Space Science and General Science from Eastern Michigan University where he played baseball for 4 years as an outfielder.  He also earned his Master’s degree from Marygrove College.  Clint played football, basketball, and baseball at Romeo High School where he earned 1st Team All-State and the Dream Team for baseball and played in the MHSBCA All-Star Game at Tiger Stadium.  Clint’s wife Erin teaches Math and Computer Programming at SCHS. He has 2 daughters, Emeline, Lucille and a son named Brock.  crodger@rochester.k12.mi.us


Assistant Varsity Coach (right) - Paul Diegel (2005-present)

Coach Diegel was recently (2009) inducted into the Michigan High School Coach’s Hall of Fame.  He currently has a career record of 410 wins and 289 losses.  In 2000, he led the Troy High Colts (1991-2000) to a #1 ranking in the MHSBCA Poll and #25 in the USA Today National Rankings, he also had 2 top 10 finishes in 1993 and 1994.  That same year, in 2000, he coached the MHSBCA All-Star Game at Comerica Park.  In 1999, his team was a state finalist in Division I and Regional and District and OAA Division I Champions.  He was named Oakland County (99), Regional (99), District (In 96,98,99) and All-Area Coach of the year (99). From 1988-1990 Paul was the Assistant Baseball Coach at Rochester Adams High School where he won the SMA title, Oakland County League title, and Midland Dow Classic in 1989 and finished in the MHSAA top 10.
